The client will not save my settings. It finds the groups but will not import them. What should I do?

@Stanley. I am sorry that it is not working for you. I need to know what version of zoneminder you are running, and also what version of firefox. I only tested it with versions 1.24.2 and 1.24.4 of zoneminder. The problem is that zoneminder client reads the webpages of the zoneminder server such as the groups page and the montages for each of the groups. Zoneminder was not properly formatted with xhtml causing zoneminder client to break when it tries to read and parse thoses pages as XML(ampersand entities in urls not encoded and some unclosed tags). I would be curious to take a look at the source code of the montage page(CTRL + U). you can send me an email admin at dvr-security dot net. Of course, the other option is for you to manually setup the groups.

Reloaded Firefox and settings are now being saved. The only problem now is that the sidebar does not work. It says “Transaction Completed” yet it does not show any cameras.

    I’m running Firefox 10.0.2 on Ubuntu 10.04.

    Hi!
    Can you help me?

I need shortcut login URL to my zoneminder v.1.25. How can I make secure passwordless “one touch” login URL?

@Mike. I am not really sure what you are asking, but I will try to give you some type of answer. Are you talking about using the ‘Allow login by authentication hash’ feature? You have to first login to get the authentication hash. After getting the ‘auth’ key, you would then use it like so: yourzoneminderserver/zm/index.php?auth=23432435g3ge34f5444f44gffg. Let me know some more details so that I can give a better answer.
